August was an active month with a variety of reports. As a reminder, the LCSO Deputies patrol every day for six hours rotating their shifts each week. I never know what six-hour shift they will be on duty.
We as residents pay for the patrols (as well as a number of other things in Whiskey Creek) through property tax bills. I’m not quite sure how the vote on Amendment 3 would affect this but I have been told that this could drastically cut the services provided by this special assessment and we could lose our LCSO patrols.
On August 28th Detective Selimovic spoke with a lawn care company about not parking correctly along Whiskey Creek Drive when doing lawn care and partially blocking roads.
He also spoke with a citizen from the community concerned about the multitude of cars coming and going from the area of Greenbriar Drive.
On August 27th Deputy Sean Gonzalez issued 2 citations for traffic violations.
On August 21st Deputy De Leon issued 7 warnings for traffic infractions.
On August 13th Deputy Eitutis stopped a suspicious vehicle and dispelled fears of illegal activity. He also was dispatched to 911 call (non-emergency, accidental dial).
On August 5th Deputy Cantrell was flagged down on Beechwood for a medical call (EMS responded).
On August 4th Deputy Bonsall was using radar and issued 2 citations for speeding.
On August 3rd Deputy Sean Gonzalez was very busy as he issued 10 citations from 4:30pm to 10:30pm.
