Whiskey Creek Friends and Families!
Fall is here, and hopefully along with it comes some cooler weather and a welcome change of season. As we head into the fall months, the WCCA Board has been working hard on several maintenance and enhancement projects throughout the community.
We have completed cleaning and painting at both entrances, giving them a fresh, updated look. Landscaping improvements have also been completed at both entrances and in select medians along Whiskey Creek Drive. We have also added new Christmas and holiday lighting and decorations, along with several new “Slow Down” signs throughout the neighborhood. We hope you enjoy these enhancements.
The Board continues to receive requests and suggestions from our neighbors, the MSTBU, and other community groups. These requests range from the use of gas-powered blowers and trimmers to questions about appropriate times for watering lawns. We review and carefully work to balance the needs of the community and the quality of life in our community.
Fall also brings some great opportunities to get out and enjoy the season. We have the Annual Fall Fest this month and the Annual Christmas Golf Cart Parade coming up. For those planning to participate in the parade, now is the time to start decorating your golf cart. The competition is real. We look forward to seeing everyone out enjoying these great community traditions.
The Whiskey Creek Civic Association Board’s monthly meetings are back in full swing. Meetings are held at the Club on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
At our September meeting, we welcomed A.N.A.’s Friends for a special Board presentation. We will continue to feature community speakers and organizations that are making a difference and serving our community. We encourage everyone to attend WCCA Board meetings, learn more about what is happening, and get involved with your Civic Association. Your participation and input are important to the continued success of our community.

Your generosity helps us preserve the character, beauty, and quality of life that make our neighborhood so special. An annual voluntary membership of $125 helps fund community beautification, neighborhood improvements, deed restriction enforcement, communications, and special events that benefit everyone in Whiskey Creek.
If you are new to the neighborhood or have not yet renewed your membership, we encourage you to join us. Our goal is 100% community participation, yet currently only about 30% of households participate. Every membership makes a difference and strengthens our ability to protect, maintain, and improve the community we all enjoy.

I encourage everyone to stop by the Club and see what’s happening. It continues to be a great gathering place to enjoy good eats, Happy Hour, or Trivia nights; there is always something going on.
