Security Report

The month of July was a little more active than usual.

Officer Fishman conducted multiple traffic stops enforcing speed using radar and stop sign violations.

On July 23, Sgt. Cantrell responded to a death investigation on Beechwood Trail.

On July 29, Officer Mieses issued three warnings and one citation for traffic violations.

On July 31, at 3:45 p.m., Officer Walsh responded to a suspicious person call. He was unable to locate the observed subject matching the description who earlier came out of a residence with a skateboard.

LCSO officers performed constant patrols to prevent traffic violations and to show presence. They remained in areas to be seen by the community and public to assist in preventing violations.

At some point during their shift, most officers posted along Whiskey Creek Drive will drive with their cruise lights on for speed deterrence, and I’m sure you would agree that it encourages motorists to slow down.
