April was a very active month for traffic and law enforcement in Whiskey Creek.
LCSO officers have been advised to pay extra attention to golf carts and electric scooters as there have been numerous complaints.
I spoke to Jen Hillery, who oversees the Community Detail Unit with LCSO, and she expressed just how much a “Thank You” goes to the deputies that patrol Whiskey Creek. Their job is already exceedingly difficult, and they often only hear the negative and not the positive.
4/1 Deputy Jarrod Cantrell, at 6pm, was flagged down by a resident about electric scooters.
4/8 Deputy Sean Gonzalez was busy as he issued one citation and eleven warnings. Deputy J. Zavacky issued four warnings to one driver during a traffic stop near College Parkway.
4/13 Detective K. Deak, performed a traffic stop for a stop sign violation and speeding and another for an equipment violation.
4/15 Sgt. Jarrod Cantrell removed a solicitor from Beechwood Trail.
4/22 and 4/23 Deputy Gonzalez issued another 13 and 14 citations, respectively. He also had a medical call on Reynard, and a patient was transported by EMS.
