My name is Bruce Schultz, and a new board member of the Whiskey Creek Civic Association. I am a Florida native from the Tampa Bay area. My wife Beth and I moved to Whiskey Creek in 2003 with two middle schoolers, David and Brian. We have enjoyed watching our kids grow in this tremendous family community over the years. We enjoy grandkids, boating, and walking through the neighborhood! It has been fun to watch several of our kids’ friends move into this neighborhood as they start their own families — including one of ours!
I look forward to helping the board with community events and projects to keep Whiskey Creek as one of the best family neighborhoods in Southwest Florida! Together, we can make a difference!
I strongly encourage all Whiskey Creek residents to join or renew your Civic Association memberships or become members this month. Please see the details in the newsletter or visit http://www.whiskeycreeknews.net and click on “Membership.” The website also has minutes from previous board meetings and information about deed restrictions, upcoming events, and more. The board holds monthly meetings at the Whiskey Creek Country Club from September through May on the second Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. These meetings are open to all residents, and we encourage everyone to attend.
